Located primarily at the Wailea Resort, the Maui Film Festival at Wailea proudly presents five days and nights of under-the-stars Film Premieres and Special Screenings at three state-of-the-art outdoor "theaters": the Celestial Cinema; Maui Digital SkyDome; and the SandDance Theater. Additional Festival screenings (35mm) are also held at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's 1,000+ seat Castle Theater, and the beautifully refurbished 250+ seat McCoy Theater (digital cinema projection).
In addition to its film program, the Maui Film Festival features Honoree Tributes, Filmmakers Panels, Culinary Arts Celebrations - including the Taste of Wailea, Opening Night Twilight Reception, Taste of Chocolate, Starry Night MoonDance and Private Filmmakers' and Private Honorees' Brunches — and an outdoor pre-sunset Father's Day Concert which is held on the Sunset Lawn overlooking a jaw-droppingly spectacular view of the vast Pacific.
