Luke, Andrew and Owen Wilson
LUKE, ANDREW AND OWEN WILSON
Luke, Andrew and Owen Wilson will be honored with the Maui FIlm Festival's inaugural Shooting Star Award, for their inspired co-creation of The Wendell Baker Story.

With THE WENDELL BAKER STORY, Luke Wilson makes his writing and directorial debut. He co-stars with brother Owen in the romantic comedy, and co-directed with brother Andrew.

In his first acting appearance, Luke co-starred with Owen in BOTTLE ROCKET, the critically acclaimed independent film written and directed by Wes Anderson. Luke's upcoming films include THE FAMILY STONE, with Claire Danes, Diane Keaton, Dermot Mulroney, Craig T. Nelson and Sarah Jessica Parker; and MINI'S FIRST TIME, with Alec Baldwin, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jeff Goldblum.

Luke Wilson's other films include: RUSHMORE, which appeared on many critics' top-ten lists, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS, whose all-star cast included Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Stiller, and Bill Murray, co-starring with Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell in the Dreamworks hit OLD SCHOOL. Other recent film credits include Rob Reiner's romantic comedy ALEX AND EMMA, opposite Kate Hudson; and MASKED & ANONYMOUS, opposite Bob Dylan, Penelope Cruz, and Jessica Lange.

The multi-faceted Owen Wilson made his mark in Hollywood as both an actor and writer for feature films. He recently starred in Wes Anderson's THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU, opposite Bill Murray, Anjelica Huston, Willem Dafoe, Cate Blanchett and Jeff Goldblum; and in STARSKY AND HUTCH, with Ben Stiller.

Owen and Anderson received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay for their work on THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS. Owen also co-wrote and starred (with Luke) in Anderson's first film, BOTTLE ROCKET, and was co-author and co-executive producer of his second, RUSHMORE, again appearing with Luke. Owen also served as associate producer on the Oscar-winning AS GOOD AS IT GETS-which, to the best of our knowledge, did not feature any other Wilson boys.

Owen's acting credits include I SPY, BEHIND ENEMY LINES, ZOOLANDER, MEET THE PARENTS, SHANGHAI NOON and sequel SHANGHAI KNIGHTS with Jackie Chan, ARMAGEDDON, THE MINUS MAN, and THE CABLE GUY. He'll star with Vince Vaughn (who appeared with Luke in OLD SCHOOL) in this summer's WEDDING CRASHERS.

Though he chose to stay behind the scenes with THE WENDELL BAKER STORY, which marks his directorial debut, Andrew Wilson may soon catch up with his younger and so far more visible brothers. Andrew has appeared in more than fifteen movies, and can be seen this summer in an as-yet untitled comedy by Mike Judge, and with Drew Barrymore in FEVER PITCH, a film by the Farrelly Brothers (DUMB AND DUMBER, THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY).

Laird Hamilton and Dave Kalama
LAIRD HAMILTON and DAVE KALAMA
