Palden Gyatso, a Buddhist monk since childhood, spent the last 33 years in prison for the crimes of peaceful demonstration and refusal to denounce H.H. The 14th Dalai Lama as an Indian spy. Despite all, and having escaped prison, he remains unbroken, keeping the flame of his spirit ablaze.
